At our gatherings you can look forward to blended worship, effectual prayer, open communion, expository preaching and the blessing of gathering with fellow worshippers of King Jesus!
Pastor Joe and his wife Tracy have been serving at FCC since there were called by the church in October of 2020. They were first called into ministry in the summer of 2018 and enjoy using their musical talents in the local church as well as pastoring. Pastor Joe has a B.A. in Church Music from Bob Jones University and an M.A. in Christian Counseling from Queens College of Theology. He is passionate about the Gospel, loves people and lives out a desire to see local churches flourish and grow. If you see him or Tracy at church, they are usually trying to keep up with their three children: Jehu, Keziah and Jael.
Karen Knauer is our church secretary and helps manages our weekly and monthly publications, church communications via email and phone and a lot of behind the scenes details!
Tracy Ensley is our Children's Ministries and Connections Director. She helps organize volunteers as they tell FCC kids about Jesus! If you visit, she is also one of the first people you will meet to help you find your way around.
Perry Keller is an elder at FCC and also helps direct the missions team. He and his wife Paula have been faithfully serving at FCC for over 10 years.
Eddie Brunk is one of our elders. He and his wife Julie have 3 children and they have been faithfully serving at FCC for over 30 years.
Keith has been an active member at FCC since 2020 and you can usually find him leading our prayer ministry, participating in a bible study or building something!
Tim Poling and his wife Margaret have been active and faithful members of FCC for many years.
Royce Cook is one of the longest standing members at FCC and has served faithfully his whole life.
Our church members are the people who have made a covenant commitment to this body of believers in doctrinal and behavioral practice. This does not represent everyone in our church family though and there are many loved people who attend with us regularly, or when they can or by livestream that we love dearly! And of course, ANYONE is welcome to attend our services and get involved with us as we serve the Lord in St Francis.
Although we are a non-denomination church, we don't believe that God designed churches to function alone! We are part of the Disciple Heritage Fellowship headquartered in Decatur, IL. With this Fellowship, we are able to enjoy sharing resources and leadership development with other like-minded churches, while retaining our individual autonomy as a local church.
